About Natural Dos

Almost all modern medicines have their roots in plant compounds (pun intended)

Hemp has long been a plant medicine across thousands of years, and when we discovered that the plants most powerful cannabinoid form was not what was being offered, we set off to develop a new technology to help bring relief to our families and anyone who would listen.

What is this hidden form? Termed the “Acidic Cannabinoids”, such as CBDA, CBGA, THCA, and many others, they are the natural form found in the hemp flower. Long ignored due to the use of heat in conventional purification processes which converts them to the well known CBD, CBG, or THC forms.

These compounds overcome a major problem not talked about in the cannabinoid space, poor absorption. While conventional cannabinoids have amazing benefits for sleep, anxiety, stress and inflammation, the body does not absorb them well.

It turns out, CBDA is over 450% to 1000% better absorbed than CBD, making it the most potent and natural cannabinoid from the hemp plant.

Natural Dos is founded by scientists, physicians, and farmers, and so we bring the most high quality CBDA and minor cannabinoid products on the market. Our proprietary technology produces a Natural Spectrum CBDA oil that contains all the acidic cannabinoids in the hemp plant, a unique formulation you will not find anywhere.

CBDA Relief

Our Natural Spectrum CBDA is most often used for Anxiety and Stress relief. But many people also use it for help with sleep and inflammatory pain.

Whether your a working mom, or stressed out at work, you can benefit from the calming effects of a daily dose of Natural Dos.

Natural Dos Transparency

We take pride in our product, and believe in full transparency to our customers. Our scientists identified the best third party testing labs that use the most advanced testing techniques to validate the purity. You can see our testing results for every product in the Certificate of Analysis page.

Our final products are tested for and contain no pesticides, residual solvents, heavy metals, or harmful microbials.

I received my Ph.D. in molecular pathology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham,
where I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine studying autoimmune disease. Plants have been used for thousands of years to help ameliorate
human and animal ailments. In fact, most modern medicines are derived from our investigations into the pharmacology of plant-based molecules. As the medicinal properties of plant-based nutraceuticals gains popularity in the medical space, the role of cannabis is at the very forefront with many participants attesting to its beneficial properties. I currently use hemp-extracted CBDA oil to help with sleep and inflammation. I am thrilled to be a part of the movement to provide scientifically rigorous hemp-based cannabinoid products to people.

Growing up, I spent a lot of time outside, the joy I found from being outdoors developed into a desire to form my life and work around the natural world. I graduated from Appalachian State in North Carolina in 2012 with a degree in Appropriate Technology and a minor in Sustainable Development. Following graduation, I worked on an organic vegetable farm in orange county North Carolina where I grew up. This experience inspired me to want something similar of my own, and I moved to the smoky mountains of Tennessee to Homestead and farm on a portion of my grandfather’s land. I established myself on 2 acres and raised vegetables for the Knoxville farmer’s market.

Hemp, with its many uses for the human body, captures my interests in plants and self-reliant health practices. In 2017, two years after the hemp pilot program was legalized, I applied for my growers and processors license and have had them ever since. I continue to work closely with the land growing small batches of hemp for processing in our facilities.

I am the co-founder of the Birmingham-based raw juice company, The Fresh Squeeze, as well as Produccion Agricola Internacional, S.A. (PAISA), an international produce company based in the Republic of Panama. My work with PAISA introduced me to the world of controlled environment agriculture, and large-scale hydroponics, which we plan to incorporate on a small scale at our downtown laboratory building via a rooftop hydroponic greenhouse. I began using hemp-extracted CBDA oil to help with sleep and anxiety. For me, the results have been nothing short of miraculous. Now, my goal is to introduce as many people as possible to the benefits of this incredible plant.

After college at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, I went to medical school at the University of Panama, where I had the honor of being a B student in my Dad’s classroom. A medical residency at Gorgas Hospital in the Canal Zone was followed by a fellowship and faculty position in hematology and oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). A fascination with labs and research began in a wonderful UAB immunobiology laboratory and persists with clinical research in immune deficiency in our private practice at Brookwood Hospital and the ongoing conversion of a historic building into labs with my brother-in-law Justin. Reports from patients about the effects of CBDA led me to join Frontier CBD Science to produce and research its clinical and chemical complexities.
